When I try printing to novaPDF it says waiting for printer but nothing happens. Why?

This probably happens because there are some printing jobs hanged in the printer spooler (an error occurred and they were not processed). First, check the novaPDF print queue and if there are any jobs sent to novaPDF that have not been processed cancel them.

After that you'll have to restart the Printer Spooler service as it's possible the print jobs won't be removed from the queue. To restart this service either restart your computer, or do a manual restart as explained below:
  • Right-click My Computer and select Manage.
  • Expand Services and Applications, and click on Services.
  • Scroll down in the list of services, right-click on Print Spooler and then select Restart (or Start if it is stopped).
  • Close the Computer Management window after the service is restarted (a progress window will be shown).
After the Printer Spooler service is started and the status of the novaPDF printer is Ready, try printing to it again. If it still doesn't work Contact Us.
