Do you offer enterprise licensing?

For large enterprise businesses needing more than 1000 licenses we recommend the regional licensing solution, especially suitable for companies that need unlimited usage in a region: site, country or even worldwide.

There are three types of regional licenses: Site, Country and Worldwide site license. It's easy to choose which one is suitable given that all relate to where your company has the offices novaPDF will be used into. Each license type mentioned below is available for all novaPDF editions (Lite, Standard and Professional).

Site license (Lite, Standard or Professional), means that unlimited copies of novaPDF can be installed and registered in an organization, company or other entity, whose offices are located within the borders of one statoid (defined as a "major administrative division of your country" – such as state, province, region, governorate, prefecture, district). For instance if you are an US based company that has offices only in the state of Texas, you can purchase one regional license and anyone in your company can use novaPDF.

Country license (Lite, Standard or Professional), means that unlimited copies of novaPDF can be installed and registered in an organization, company or other entity whose offices are within the borders of one country. For example if your company has 100 offices in USA and you buy one country license, anyone within your company can use novaPDF.

Worldwide license (Lite, Standard or Professional), means that unlimited copies of novaPDF can be installed and registered in an organization, company or other entity with offices all over the world. For instance if your company has offices in 20 countries and you buy one worldwide license, anyone within your company can use novaPDF.

For pricing information or any other inquiries contact us (include in the email beside the license type also the edition you want this for - Lite, Standard, Professional).

What happened to novaPDF Server editions?

Starting with version 8 all editions of novaPDF have both Desktop and Server functionality. This means licenses can be used as regular virtual desktop PDF printers but also as shared network PDF printers, via Remote Desktop Connection or Terminal Servers. If you already have licenses for novaPDF Server you'll be able to upgrade those to the latest version and still have the same functionality that you need for a PDF server.

What happened to novaPDF Desktop editions?

Starting with version 8 all editions of novaPDF have both Desktop and Server functionality. This means licenses can be used as regular virtual desktop PDF printers but also as shared network PDF printer, via Remote Desktop Connection or Terminal Servers only if you own a license for each connecting computer that prints to it (directly, via the shared network printer or remotely).

If you already have licenses for novaPDF Desktop you'll be able to upgrade it to the latest version and still have the same functionality that you need for a virtual PDF printer. The best part is that now you can also use the features that were included in previous versions only in the server editions (i.e. shared network printing).
