Term: odf to pdf
Definition: .odf is a file extension for the OpenDocument format (created with OpenOffice.org Writer). odf to pdf refers to the process of converting an OpenDocument file to a PDF one. In order for the conversion to take place, OpenOffice.org suite needs to be installed as well as a PDF printer driver such as novaPDF. Converting the .odf file to a PDF one is done by opening the document in OpenOffice Writer, going to File->Print, selecting as a printer the virtual PDF printer (i.e. novaPDF) and clicking on Print. Once the conversion is finished, the PDF document will be saved to a desired location.
