Term: mdi to pdf
Definition: .mdi is the file extension for the Microsoft Document Imaging File. mdi to pdf refers to the process of converting a Microsoft Document imaging file to a PDF document. In order for the conversion to take place, Microsoft Office Document Imaging or MDI viewer needs to be installed as well as a PDF printer driver such as novaPDF. Converting the .mdi file to a PDF one is done by opening the document in the Microsoft Document Imaging (or MDI viewer), going to File->Print, selecting as a printer the virtual PDF printer (i.e. novaPDF) and clicking on Print. Once the conversion is finished, the PDF document will be saved to a desired location.
